Balance and harmony in life are key to being happy. Being happy is the best way to and show your kids how to be happy too. As they used to say in elementary school -- Monkey see, Monkey Do!
 Visualize a scale. There is a stable center with 2 arms, one on each side. Now, picture the scale with 2 sets or arms. One set off to the side and one set front to back. Each arm is 90 degrees from the other, like a compass.
This is your personal scale. It represents you and how you are balancing your needs. The four arms are Mental, Physical, Emotional and Spiritual. The goal is to keep all 4 arms up at the same level all at the same time.
Is your scale in balance or is it tipping? Most of us are tipping with brief moment of balance. We forget to recalibrate every day so that we start and finish each day in balance. It sounds simple and makes sense, but it can take practice to maintain.
Now, picture the scale again only this time it is not your personal scale but you extended scale. It represents Relationships, Purpose, Passion and Necessity. When you feel this scale, how does it feel? This scale is a bit trickier to maintain. Understanding and manipulating what we allow to affect this scale is how we begin to create balance. As a mom, it is the key to overall happiness and a feeling of success.
Balanced Living for Moms helps you to take an in depth look at your life to determine how to create a sense of harmony in your life. The goal is to create overall happiness, a sense of purpose and a life that you love to live.
The past is over, the future has yet to come and it is in the present that we experience life!
